Kurma yoga is different
Oleg Flow, our Lead Exercise Instructor, likes to give departing clients real time DVDs of each of the three yoga session taught daily at Malibu Beach Recovery Center and The Brentwood House. He is now preparing a new set, which will also be available to alumni via our websites.
“The focus of this yoga style is on breathing,” he says, “and over the last six and a half years we have seen first hand that focused breathing helps alleviate, control and even prevent stress. The practice of Kurma Yoga is very similar to meditation.
