Bird’s Eye View: Advice to Those Not Yet In Recovery

IMG_2353It seems difficult enough managing “dysfunction” in our every day sober lives.

Throw in addiction and our lives become most unmanageable.

We hit the pause button and our lives come to a screeching HALT (Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired).

This may sound like a simple answer, but personal triggers are just waiting to enhance our desire to use or drink.

It’s imperative that you quit your “stinking” thinking and donate some quality time to a good cause.

At least we have a choice!

Malibu Beach Recovery Center gave me new tools to put in my toolbox. Not only did staff reinforce a daily Twelve Step meeting, but they added meditation, Kurma Yoga, and a high dopamine diet to our healthy new life style. We have nothing to complain about. It just takes work!

Practice what’s good for you. Our old ideas and ways lead us to death!!

Please take charge and care of your life. This starts with you. Get help, now versus later.

Have a Sober Holiday Everyone!

Beautiful sister, you continue to amaze me. As a sober woman, you are navigating through it all beautifully (holidays included), and you reinforce good wisdom and principles for myself and others! ❤️
